The West Valley Eagles varsity girls went one and one in their league games last week.
The Eagles topped the host Yreka Miners basketball team by a final score of 51-40 in Tuesday's league game.
Paige Adkins scored a game-high 16 points against the Miners.
The West Valley girls didn't have as much success against Corning. The Cardinals beat the Eagles 53-45 on Friday.
Morgan McCarley scored a game high 18 points, while Megan Bowen added 11.
