The West Valley boys fell to the Falcons 60-46 on Friday.
West Valley (4-2 NAL, 13-7) was without leading scorer Donny Anondson, who was sitting out a one-game suspension. Ben Bradshaw had 17 points in his absence, but no other Eagle reached double figures.
Central Valley (3-3 NAL, 9-12) led 27-18 at halftime and boosted the gap to as much as 13 midway through the third quarter. But West Valley chipped away and Luke Cassedy picked up his fourth foul with three minutes left in the third.
But the remaining Falcons stepped up. Cassedy came back and sealed the win by going 8-of-10 from the foul line in the fourth quarter, then dishing to Mancasola for a key 3-pointer with 47 seconds left that put the Falcons up 56-46.
