Anderson Cubs Vs. Central Valley
The Cubs girls stayed right in the game against Central Valley at Anderson on Friday, but were barely edged out once again, 46-44.
Although the Cubs have come close several times, they haven't managed a league win. The varsity girls have an 0-8 league record and are 9-14 overall.
The Cubs will face Lassen and Yreka next week for the final two games of the season.
West Valley Eagles Vs. Lassen
The West Valley girls were defeated by Lassen in their league game last Thursday 47-43.
Top scorers for West Valley were Megan McCarley with 10. Taylor Lambert and Paige Adkins each had 9. McCarley also led in rebounds with 13.
Lassen's Carlotta Kloppenburg led her team with 14 points.
West Valley is now 4-4 in league play, and third in overall standings behind Corning and Central Valley. There last two games of league play will be against Yreka and Corning.
