West Valley boys
The West Valley boys basketball team grabbed the Division III No. 2 seed.
They earned a first-round bye and will play the winner of No. 3 Las Plumas (11-10) and No. 6 Oroville (7-18) at West Valley on March 4.
Anderson girls
The Anderson Cubs girls basketball team are in the No. 7 spot in the Division IV playoffs.
The Cubs (10-15) host No. 10 Wheatland (10-15) in Anderson on Tuesday, Feb. 24. (See web for update.)
If Anderson beats Wheatland, they will face No. 2 seeded Central Valley (20-6) at Shasta Lake on Thursday, Feb. 26.
West Valley girls
The West Valley girls are positioned in the No. 4 spot of the Division III girls basketball playoffs.
The Lady Eagles (10-15) will face No. 5 seeded Oroville (6-19) on Thursday, Feb. 26 at West Valley.
The winner of that game goes on to face No. 1 seeded Enterprise (17-8) at Enterprise on Tuesday, March 3.
