Sherry L. Byrd

Sherry passed away on February 12, 2009 at Mercy Medical Center after a long illness. She was born in Redding on June 14, 1954. Sherry is survived by her son, Damon Jones and two daughters, Misty Rainey and Chrystal Byrd. Three sisters, Carla Barrett, Debra Eade and Angelia Neel, all from Redding. Also four grandchildren and eight neices and nephews.

Sherry was a member of the Church of Christ in Anderson and was a Caregiver by profession for the past twenty years.

Sherry was preceded in death by her husband and best friend Larry Byrd and thier child Teresa Grace Byrd, and by her parents.

A celebration of Sherry's life will be held at The American Legion Hall, 3297 Chestnut Dr. Cottonwood, CA. on Saturday February 28, 2009 at 3 p.m.

Dorothy Bell Deaver

Dorothy Bell Deaver was born in Anderson, CA on January 9, 1923 and died peacefully at home with loved ones February 23, 2009.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, William "Jack" Deaver, son, Fennel Deaver and daughters Wanda Tinker, Pat Coker, Jackie Young, Nancy Meyer, 14 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. She was Mother to many foster children.

A kindhearted homemaker who will be lovingly remembered by the numerous lives she touched. Her family will honor her wishes for no formal services.
