A 12-year-old boy was taken to U.C. Davis emergency room in critical condition after a diesel can he was playing with exploded, burning 85 percent of his body.
He was with a group of four other juveniles playing with a five gallon diesel can, igniting scrap lumber with it near a residence at 19267 Peacock Way, according to Sergent Jim Beaupre.
