History lesson

For story time on Dec. 17, Delores Mitchell from the Anderson Historical Society brought items from a Christmas long ago. They included wooden toys and a sack of marbles. She also showed children items that were once a part of a child's daily activities such as pieces of slate and chalk, ink wells, fountain pens, metal lunch buckets and a school's brass lunch bell.
