Anderson Rotary Club will hold its 39th annual Crab Feed on Saturday, Jan. 10, at the Shasta District Fair grounds in Anderson.
Doors open at 6 p.m. with the crab served at 7 p.m. Also on the menu is the club's famous homemade clam and fish chowder, green salad, bread and all the fixings. Tickets are $35 from any Rotary Club member and admission includes the dinner, a no-host bar, live music, dancing and a door prize, said Jeff Hall, who is chairing the event.
Chances to win many donated items and gift baskets will also be sold at the event.
The crab will be picked up on the docks in Crescent City on Friday and trucked fresh to the event, noted Keith Webster, a past-president of the 40-member club.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will benefit the Anderson Rotary Scholarship Fund and other Rotary projects.
