The North Valley Rapids (NVR) Girls Fastpitch Organization will be holding sign-ups for 10U and 12U on Saturday, Jan, 17 and Jan. 24 at Simpson University softball field in Redding.
The 14U, 16U, and 18U teams will be holding sign-ups on Sunday, Jan. 18 and Jan. 25, 2009.
The purpose of the North Valley Rapids is to prepare young ladies for the next level of play, where performance and academics can play a big role for college admission.
Anyone who wants to be involved or would like to play at a high level organized fastpitch softball is asked to attend.
The North Valley Rapids organization has been around for the past nine years and has helped over eighty athletes gain the ability to attend college with some type of assistances based on their athletic/academics. Any questions, please contact Xavier "Tito" Cervantes at 530-527-0863.

Try-out Times:
10U and 12U from 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.
Jan. 18 and 25
Try-out Time:
14U from 10 a.m. - 12:30 p.m.
16U and 18U from 1:30 p.m. - 4:30 p.m.
