The West Valley Eagles boys and girls soccer teams beat the Anderson Cubs on Tuesday Jan. 6.
The boys played a total shut out with a 4-0 game, that was scoreless for the Cubs. Junior Ray Close had two goals and one assist. Jorge Partida, a junior scored a goal and a skilled goal off the top of his head, was scored by sophomore Eric Nieves.
In the girls game, the final score was West Valley 4, Anderson 1. West Valley's high point scorer was Junior, Cassie DeBonis with two goals and one each for Senior Jenni Muller and freshman Taylor Moebes. Scoring for the Anderson Cubs, was senior, Cheyenne Brooks.
The Anderson Cubs and the West Valley Eagles will meet again in league play on Tuesday Jan. 27th.
