Shasta County Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD) will hold their monthly meeting on Monday, Jan. 26, at the office of Shasta County Chemical People, 4352 Caterpillar Road, in Redding. The meeting will start at 6 p.m.
The guest speaker will be Becky Wood, program specialist from the MADD charter office in Sacramento. The program will be an overview of "Youth In Action" (YIA), a program designed to reduce the social and retail availability of alcohol to minors. The community and all teens are invited to learn more about the YIA projects of shoulder taps, sticker shock, alcohol purchase surveys, and compliance checks.
