MICHELLE JOHNSON
Michelle Johnson was chosen as student of the month for September at West Valley High School.
Michelle was nominated for the student of the month award by science teacher Dan Button.
Michelle was selected because of her outstanding academic and athletic accomplishments. She will be the West Valley valedictorian this spring, and was recently accepted by the University of Pennsylvania. Michelle has decided to further her education at the Ivy League school where she will run cross country and track while studying medicine.
Michelle recently won the Northern Section cross country championship race, then placed seventh in the California State Cross Country Championships to earn All-State honors.
