The July 8 meeting between Shasta County Supervisors and Transmission Agency of Northern California (TANC) was cancelled by TANC officials last week. The meeting was billed to provide a question and answer session about the TANC Transmission Project (TTP).
TANC cited the withdrawal of TTP funding by Sacramento Municipal Utility District (SMUD) as why the meeting was cancelled.
The scoping period for the project was not to be extended as of Monday, July 6.
