Shasta Youth Leadership Camp is set to run July 12-15. This marks the 19th year for the leadership development opportunity for 6th-8th grade students from throughout Shasta County. Campers are still needed at this year's camp. The cost is $40 per camper but camp scholarships are available.
With a focus on developing leadership and drug and alcohol resistance skills in middle school students, the camp provides a high-energy, active four days and three nights for middle school youth. For more information, contact the Youth Violence Prevention Council at 244-7194.
