The AARP Driver Safety Course is presented through videotape and group discussion. It covers age related physical changes in perception and reaction time, new rules of the road, and local driving conditions. Participants who complete the course may be eligible for an automobile insurance discount.
Participants must attend both days of the class scheduled for August 3 & 4. The other courses are one day (4-hour) refresher courses for those who have completed the two-day (8-hour) course within the previous four years.
The cost of the original course and the refresher course is $14. AARP members receive a $2.00 discount ($12).

August 3 & 4 (8-hour): 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Blood Source, 1880 Park Marina Dr. in Redding.
August 13 (4-hour): 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at Redding Library, 1100 Parkview Ave.
August 25 (4-hour): 9 a.m.-1 p.m. at Frontier Senior Center, 2081 Frontier Trail in Anderson.
