Since November, 2008, Haven Humane Society has distributed one ton of dog and cat food each month to senior and needy pet owners in our community. All the food has been given free to allow pet owners to keep their pets in this tough economic time.
After giving away seven tons of food, Haven Humane Society has completely run out of food to give away. Once again, Haven is appealing to the community to help out with pet food for our senior and needy friends.
If you can help, please bring donations of dog or cat food to the shelter at 7449 Eastside Road in Anderson between 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m.
