An Art Show and Wine Tasting Benefit for the Cottonwood Creek Watershed Group will be held Tuesday, June 9 at 6 p.m. at Vintage Wine Bar and Restaurant in downtown Redding. Wine tasting will be $5 and entry to the art show will be free of charge.
The featured artists will be Regina Wyatt and Dejon Weldon who do mixed medium paintings.
All proceeds are to benefit the Cottonwood Creek Watershed Group. The group's mission is to preserve the environment, private property and water rights, and economic resources of Cottonwood Creek watershed through responsible stewardship, liaison, cooperation, and education. Their current projects include continue fire breaks, eradication of noxious weeds, a weekly farmers market promoting agriculture sustainability, community and educational outreach and oak woodland reforestation.
