Open Swim
Public swimming began Monday, June 15 at the Anderson Union High School pool.
The pool will be open from 1:30 to 5 p.m. on weekdays. Children under 8-years-old must be accompanied by an adult.
A $70 family pass is available that allows unlimited use of the pool during Public Swim hours for the immediate family.
A $25 individual season pass is available that allows unlimited use of the pool during the public swim hours all summer.
Swim Classes
Pre-registration for the Learn to Swim program began Friday, June 5 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Anderson City Hall community center, 1887 Howard Street.
Registration will be taken at the Recreation Department from 8 to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday beginning Monday, June 8.
The cost is $27 for two weeks of sessions. Sessions last 45 minutes.
Classes include:
Mommie & Me - for infants to three years old. (Parent participation required);
Early beginner for 4 and 5 year olds - no prior swimming experience is required;
Beginner 2 and Beginner 3 swim classes for children 6-years-old and up depending on their ability level;
Advanced beginner and intermediate swim for children who have passed the beginner level 3 swim classes;
and an adult open swim and lap swim.
