Anderson man reports robbery at gun point

According to Gardner, 20, of Anderson, a man he was giving a ride to in the Pinon Avenue area got in the passenger seat and put a .357-type black revolver against Gardner's temple, demanding money at about 6 p.m., June 12.

The second suspect offered a ride wrapped his arm around Gardner's throat to lift him as the first suspect took Gardner's wallet, according to Gardner.

Gardner lost consciousness and awoke to see suspects leaving with his wallet, he said.

The suspect who held the gun was reported to Anderson Police as a white male, 19-20 years old, clean shaven, short blonde hair, medium build and wearing a light blue shirt. The second suspect was described as a 19-20 year old white male with unknown facial hair, medium length dark hair, medium build and wearing a black t-shirt and black shorts.

Anderson Police Department has asked that anyone with information about the crime contact the APD at 378-6600.
