Horse tack swap meet June 27 to benefit 4-H

Friends of 4-H will be hosting a Barn and Tack-Orama at the Holiday Market in Cottonwood from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. on Saturday, June 27.

Those with horse-related items will be selling them to collect cash and clear out some needed space in their barns and tack rooms, said event organizer Patricia Mailloux.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the 4-H Horseless Horse project, which is dedicated to teaching youth the fundamentals of horse care and safety whether the youngster owns a horse or not, Mailloux said.
