Entry forms are now being accepted for the annual Cottonwood Rodeo Parade, scheduled to step off at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9.
Entry forms are available at various Cottonwood businesses and are also available on line at www.cottonwoodcofc.org.
This year's categories include floats, bands, marching groups, majorettes, equestrian, vehicles and unique entries. The parade's theme, "Old Days and Cowboy Ways," will set the tone for the event that precede's the community's annual Mother's Day weekend rodeo.
With all parade entries, there is a $10 fee per entry.
"Old Days and Cowboy Ways," was chosen by the Cottonwood Rodeo Parade Committee as the theme from approximately 10 entries. Susan Stone of Cottonwood is the winner of this year's contest to name the theme.
For her winning entry, she will receive two tickets to this year's rodeo.
All parade entries must be postmarked by April 30 and must be received by the parade committee no later than May 2. For more information, contact the Cottonwood Chamber Office at 347-6800.
