Happy Valley Primary School is encouraging parents of incoming kindergartners to bring their youngsters to the kindergarten round-up set for Wednesday, April 1. This is a special event for new kindergartners and their parents. Happy Valley Primary is located at 16300 Cloverdale Road.

Parents will begin registering their students in the school cafeteria at 6 p.m., after which they will be given the opportunity to hear from Principal Kellie Dunham, members of the kindergarten staff and representatives of the PTA.

During this time, the future kindergartners will enjoy activities in one of the kindergarten classrooms. Afterwards, everyone will be invited to take a short ride on a school bus and then enjoy a hotdog barbecue.

Parents need to bring their child's birth certificate and an up-to-date immunization record. A dental exam will be required for enrollment in kindergarten. It is suggested that arrangements be made for the care of other older children.
