The West Valley boys tennis team lost two games last week.
The Eagles lost their first match on Tuesday March, 24 against section favorite Yreka 0-9.
West Valley had a much closer match against Corning on Thursday, March 26. They were edged out 5-4.
Eagles tennis players who won their sets include Jordan Burk, Michael Thomsen, David Fife and Chris James.
West Valley is now 3-2 in league play and 5-4 overall.
