Discounted tickets for the Exchange Club of Redding's Air Show 2009 featuring the Navy's Blue Angels and Army Golden Knights are now on sale on the show's Web site www.reddingairshow.com.
The show will be held Sept. 26-27 at the Redding Municipal Airport.
Advance tickets are $10 for adults and all children older than 12. Tickets purchased at the gate will be $15. Tickets for children between the ages of 6 and 11 are $5 at all times. Children age 5 and younger are admitted free.
Tickets for the ever-popular Flight Deck, a semi-exclusive frontline pavilion that offers catered food and beverages throughout the show are $65 if purchased in advance only. Starting July 1, Flight Deck tickets will go up to $95 for adults. Flight Deck Tickets for children ages 6 to 11 are $25.
The show will welcome back long-time favorite Eddie Andreini in his classic Stearman and Yak-9 warbird. Steve Stavrakakis, a former performer, will be back to handle announcing duties, the club announced.
More announcements are planned as the Exchange Club fills out the performance schedule.
Thanks to the air show, the Exchange Club of Redding's donations to area charities, churches, non-profits, youth groups and volunteer organizations during the past 24 years have exceeded $850,000, event publicist Bill Wagner said.
