The American Association of University Women Redding Branch invites those interested in membership to the organization's dinner meeting on April 25, when the AAUW Educational Foundation Honoree will be recognized.
Reservations for dinner are $15 each and must be made by Monday, April 20.
Individuals with associate degrees or higher are eligible for membership. To receive a membership information packet and/or attend the dinner, contact Vicki Sharp, membership vice president at 223-0344 or by email at vickisharp@charter.net.
The Redding branch of AAUW was established in 1942 and promotes equity for all women and girls. In principal and practice, AAUW values and seeks a diverse membership.
The Redding branch has a history of community action projects, as well as providing local scholarships for women graduating from Shasta College to continue their education at an accredited four-year institution.
