The Cubs softball team kept it neck and neck with the Miners during their game on Friday, but came out behind, 5-6.
Anderson got eight hits against Yreka.
Top hitters include Cheridan Hawkins, who had 3 hits and four RBIs, and Jaylynn Trotter, who got two hits with one RBI. Other Cubs players who got hits are Meriah Johnson, Katie Barnette and Ashley Dial.
Yreka had seven hits against the Cubs.
Earlier in the week, the Cubs fell to Lassen 0-6.
Karlee Pokorny had Anderson's lone hit against the Grizzlies.
The Cubs have a 9-17 record overall, and are 3-5 in league play. They are fifth out of six teams in the Northern League.
