Shasta College will hold its annual concert of the Chamber and Concert Choirs in the Shasta College Theatre at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 16.
This concert will feature choral works by Z. Randall Stroope, Brahms, and special arrangement of Stephen Foster's "Hard Times," under the direction of Dr. Elizabeth Waterbury.
The Concert Choir will sing pieces by John Dowland and David Chilcott. Graduating and transferring students will perform vocal and instrumental solos. At the end of the concert, the combined choirs will perform "Dreamers of Dreams" by Gwyneth Walker.
Tickets are only available at the door for $7, $5 for seniors and students. For more information, call (530) 242-7730.
