The Cottonwood Rodeo Parade steps off smartly at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, starting at Front Street. It will feature floats, bands, drill teams and mounted entries from throughout northern California.

The 47th annual Cottonwood Mothers' Day Rodeo begins at 1 p.m. in the Bobby Jones Arena with the crowning of Miss Cottonwood Rodeo for 2009.

Rodeo action continues through Sunday, May 10.
