Cubs baseball edged out

The Cubs baseball team was edged out by Yreka 3-2 on Friday.

Anderson did a good job keeping Yreka runs to a minimum in spite of their 10 game hits. But Yreka took home the victory.

Anderson had five hits, led by Ty Meyer with two. Jeff Hotchkiss and Josh Toney each got a hit against the Miners. Jeramy Riddle's double brought in the 2 RBIs.

Earlier in the week, Anderson fell to Lassen 1-11.

The Cubs two hits were made by Casey Meyer and Dylan Lafranchi.

The Cubs hold a 9-14 record overall and are 1-9 in league play.
