Rachel Virginia Burce

May 5, 2009 Rachel Virginia Burce, of Anderson, went to sleep with her family at her side.

She is survived by her children: John Bustamante, Sharon and Mike George, Theresa Benson, Sonny Burce and Cathy Chappell, Marie Burce and Colleen Cossey, 15 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren and 2 great-great grandchildren.

Her son, Perry Hamby preceded her in death in 1988.

Born May 29, 1926 in La Paz, Mexico, adopted by Lorenzo and Virginia Bustamante and raised in Los Angeles. 1948 She married Elmer Burce. She was a homemaker, raising her children alone. For the past few years Mom has been studying the Bible with Jehovah's Witnesses. Her

confidence in the resurrection hope, expressed in Jesus' words at John 5:28 and 29, sustained her through all that she had to endure. Mom died as she lived, with love and concern for all whom she would leave behind.

She is a much loved Mother, Nana and Friend.

Private Memorial on May 15th at the TBS Ranch.

Michael Lynne Mos

Michael Lynne Mos, 64, of Cottonwood, California, passed away on May 10, 2009, after a long illness. Mike was born on October 28, 1944, in Santa Cruz, California. He was the third of four children.

Mike was a computer programmer in Orange County before moving to Redding in 1977. He worked in construction for several years prior to entering the nursing profession in 1985 and was employed as a registered nurse until his recent retirement. He was an avid hunter and fisherman who enjoyed the outdoors, travel and spending time with his family.

Mike is survived by his wife of 22 years Maryann, as well as children Michael Mos of Sacramento, Tammy Martin of Cobb, Michael Gary, Darryl Gary, Debbie Memeo, Darcy Keeton and Daniel Gary, all of Redding, brother Alan of Reedsport, Oregon, sister Judith Shuffield of Lakeport, California, nine grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, as well as many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ronald Mos.

A memorial service will be held at Allen and Dahl Funeral Chapel, 9110 Deschutes Road, Palo Cedro, California, on May 15, 2009 at 4 p.m.

Dale Reynolds

Dale Reynolds, 70, of Anderson died Monday at home. Arrangements are pending at Allen & Dahl Funeral Chapel in Anderson (365-5466).
