The AARP Driver Safety Course is presented through videotape and group discussion. It covers age related physical changes, new rules of the road, and local driving conditions. Participants who complete the course may be eligible for an automobile insurance discount.
Participants must attend both days of the class scheduled for June 1-2 in Redding and June10-11 in Fall River. The other courses are one day (4-hour) refresher courses for those who have completed the two-day (8-hour) course within the previous four years.
The cost of the original course and the refresher course is $14.
