Shasta College announces their 59th Annual Commencement ceremony on Friday, May 22, 2009, at 8:00 p.m., in Memorial Stadium (football field). To date there are 735 applications for diplomas and approximately 415 confirmed participants in the commencement ceremony.
Mr. Dave Wright, retiring Shasta College Administration of Justice Instructor, will give the commencement address. Chemistry Instructor Dr. Divan Fard will receive the Excellent Educator Award for 2008-09. Mr. Rolland Robinson, retired Board Member, will be the commencement standard bearer.
