Couple to hold fundraiser for burial expenses for unborn child with deformity

Redding couple Jeremy and Leah Tuggle are expecting identical twins. One of the twins was diagnosed with anencephaly, a deformity that is incompatible with life.

The parents are raising money to prove travel costs associated with burial. Lawncrest Chapel has already donated a major portion of the burial expenses.

Fundraising efforts for the couple includes a dinner at Chevy's Mexican Restaurant, where the restaurant will donate 25 percent of a patron's meal ticket to the couple when mentioning the flyer. The dinner is scheduled for June 1, 4-9 p.m. at Chevy's, 1691 Hilltop Drive in Redding.
