MELISSA MORLAN
Anderson New Technology High School's Student of the Month is Melissa Morlan.
Melissa was awarded this honor for her extraordinary commitment to community service. She has spent numerous hours volunteering for Haven Humane Society. She is involved in Hooves for Harmony, helping disabled children build muscle control and social skills and has also contributed peer support.
Melissa persevered after a rough start to the year, and has been extremely successful demonstrating that determination really does pay off.
After graduation, Melissa is going to junior college in Sacramento. She is unsure of a major, but those that know her are sure it will include humanitarianism and animals.
