Waste Management's Anderson Landfill announced today a change in operating hours for the winter season. Beginning November 1, 2009, Anderson Landfill will be closed on Saturdays in addition to Sundays through February 2010.
Anderson Landfill operating hours are Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The landfill is also closed on the following Holidays: New Year's Day, Independence Day, Thanksgiving Day, Labor Day, Memorial Day, Christmas Day.
For disposal outside of these hours, West Central Landfill and Waste Management's Transfer Stations (located throughout Shasta County) are accepting materials.
West Central Landfill is located at 14095 Clear Creek Rd. in Redding.
