Happy Valley Lions club adds bake sale to Sunday breakfast on Nov. 15

The Happy Valley Lions Club will hold a "Special Event" fund-raiser during their regular Sunday Breakfast Nov. 15 from 8 a.m.-11 a.m. at the Happy Valley Elementary School on Palm Ave, just off Happy Valley Rd.

There will be a bake sale and drawings for prizes. Come out and support the Happy Valley Lions Club in their efforts to benefit the less fortunate within our community. The Lions Club members volunteer year-round with various fund raisers in order to provide eye glasses, eye surgeries and other special needs for area citizens.

Participation in Lions Club sponsored events make it possible for them to continue to expand the various benefits provided to area residents. Come out this Sunday and enjoy a really great breakfast for only $4.00 for adults and $2.00 for kids under 10.

The breakfast menu offers two choices:

#1- Pancakes, sausage, two eggs (cooked your way), coffee and orange juice,

#2- Sausage and gravy over biscuits, two eggs (cooked your way), Jimmy Dean sausage, coffee and orange juice. Service is on real plates, with real silverware and real cups. Organizers claim that their guests "won't leave feeling hungry."

All proceeds raised this Sunday will be used to provide Thanksgiving Dinners to the less fortunate families within the Happy Valley area. Members of the Happy Valley Lions Club invite all residents to join with them, become a Lion, give back to your community and help make it an even better place to live.

To become a "Proud Lion," call Lois Youmans at 378-2328 or Virgil White at 378-1661.
