The poll results are in for the Anderson Union High School district and the incumbents will remain on the board. Ivar Amen, Ron Brown, and Joe Gibson will continue to help guide the district through the state's budget cuts and the recession.

"Having Board members that are familiar with the district and the current problems is a big plus. Many other districts throughout the state will need to take a great deal of time to get their new Board members up to speed on the issues. I think that we have a distinct advantage over some other districts," said Tim Azevedo, superintendent for AUHSD.

Issues facing the district are finding funds to maintain programs, while ensuring students receive the same education parents expect.
