New APD officer, Finch, introduced at council meeting

Anderson Police Department’s newest police officer, Tyler Finch, previously worked
for Susanville Police Department and Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.

NEW OFFICER: Anderson Police Department’s newest police officer, Tyler Finch, previously worked for Susanville Police Department and Shasta County Sheriff’s Office.

Anderson's newest police officer, Tyler Finch, 25, was introduced to the city council and public Tuesday, Nov. 3, by Police Chief Dale Webb.

For the past three years, Finch has worked for the Susanville Police Department. Prior to that, he worked for one year as a correctional officer for the Shasta County Sheriff's Office.

A native of Santa Cruz, Calif., Finch moved to Redding in 2003. He earned a degree in administration of justice from Shasta College in 2005.

During is off hours, Finch enjoys going camping and fishing with his wife and two young children, all of whom briefly attended the council meeting.
