The ability to know yourself, your imperfections, flaws, and every unique thing about who you are is something everyone has at birth.
Sometimes, young people struggle to figure out just who they are. For this girl, that was not a virtue. She steadily felt as if she knew herself like no one else on the planet. However, her confusion exploded into reality and she found herself stuck in an empty place.
The problems were unexplained. Her illnesses undiscovered. Worry continued to haunt. Through her various aches and pains, the only hope she found was to lean on other people for comfort.
Soon she discovered that not everybody understands. Not everyone cares. She still has not reached a conclusion as to why that is. As best as she could, she held inside the infuriating irritation that these people caused. She was also very insulted by their actions. She would look at friends and family with the eyes of a lost puppy. She was searching for the comfort of four simple words, "It will be okay."
But would it? She really didn't know. Her only choice was to continue life and school as if everything was just fine.
Along the way, she ran into a few bumps. Actually, these were very big, life-impacting hills that she tried to conquer.
During that time, she often went to the school staff seeking and asking for chances of relief. Although she was trying to do her absolute best, sadly her attendance continued to go downhill. This became a huge dilemma. More often; she was treated as if she never even cared about anything but herself, which she knew was totally the opposite of who she was.
Every elder she encountered -- other than her own flowing blood -- was acting as if her only concern in the world was to be a cheerleader; as if she thought there was nothing else left in the world.
Naturally, she was offended. While this was obviously just a natural human response, it was also because she often tended to care too much. Although she continued to believe in herself through this hardship, she was put down in many ways because few people believed how badly she was truly hurting. Knowing there was still more suffering to come, it didn't stop her from losing faith.
After all, it was in her hands now. She couldn't lose her faith! Right?

I know that you don't know if everything will be ok or not, but if you keep being the strong person that I know you are then I am sure everything will be ok. Never lose faith Miss Melissa. Faith is power remember that.
