Results for the CHSRA District I third rodeo

The California High School Rodeo Association spent November 7th and 8th at the Redding Rodeo Grounds competing in their third rodeo of the 2009-2010 season.

Each high school rodeo takes two days to complete. Saturday the 7th, they shared the arena with the Wrangler Junior High School Rodeo Association. Many of the cowboys and cowgirls come from around the North State, and some as far as Eastern Oregon, to compete in these rodeos.

The association would like to thank the Redding Rodeo Association for donating the Redding Rodeo Grounds at no cost for our rodeos. Four Star Rodeo of Cottonwood is the livestock contractor for the CHSRA and Wrangler Rodeos. The next rodeo that will be held, is an Inter-district Rodeo which will be held in Oakdale on November 28th. After this rodeo, the association will be

taking a break until February. The February rodeo will be held in Red Bluff.
