<B>Anderson Christmas Tree Lighting - </B>Nov. 27, 6 p.m. at Anderson Square on Balls Ferry and Gateway Drive. Santa Claus arrives on Anderson Fire Protection District engine to hear wishes, present gifts. Carols sung by Girl Scouts. For information, 378-6696.

<B>Handle's Messiah and sing along - </B>Dec. 4, 7:30 p.m. at the LDS Church, 4075 Riverside Ave, Anderson. The community is invited to join in singing familiar Christmas carols as well as selected excerpts from Handel's Messiah. Anyone who has prior choral experience and is familiar with the Messiah is invited to participate in the core choir. Rehearsals begin Nov. 4. For information, 549-3070.

<B>Christmas Bazaar</B> - Dec. 4-5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m., at Anderson VFW, 3210 W. Center St. Over 50 tables of gifts and vendors. Funds benefit veterans programs.

<B>Annual Holiday Bazaar</B> - Dec. 5, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.; Dec. 6, 8 a.m.-2 p.m. at Frontier Senior Center 2081 Frontier Trail in Anderson. Features handmade items from local venders. Snack bar available. Community breakfast served from 8-11 a.m. For information, 365-3254.

Exercise/Outdoors

<B>Men's Basketball League </B>- Now holding sign-ups at Anderson Parks & Recreation Office, 1887 Howard St., Anderson.
