Fire district lights Anderson Christmas tree

The Anderson Fire Protection District lit the Christmas tree to an audience of at least two hundred people on Friday night. After Girl Scouts sang a round of Christmas carols, a long line of children sat on Santa Claus' lap, told him their wishes, and received a candy cane and stuffed bear.

AFPD Fire Marshal Howard Fincher wore the jolly red and white suit for the district's ceremony this year. The toys and treats were provided courtesy of the AFPD volunteers.
