Cottonwood library hosts Reader's Club

Each month, the Cottonwood Community Library sponsor's a Reader's Club "Book of the Month."

Members of the club read the currently chosen book, and come together for an hour or so to discuss, dissect and critique the latest selection. There is no membership required to join, just a love and an interest in a broad variety of books.

The current selection being featured is: "West with the Night" by Beryl Markham. The story marks the adventures of a young female pilot who grew up in East Africa and became the first woman pilot to fly from east to west across the Atlantic.

This month the Reader's Club will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 20, at 4 p.m. in the meeting room of the library. Bring your thoughts and ideas on this book, as well as ideas on future selections. For more information, contact the Cottonwood Community Library at 347-4818.
