Superior California Economic Development teamed with Shasta County, Shasta Lake City, and the City of Anderson to bring a Microenterprise Development Program to Shasta County.
The team is hosting a community meeting from 5:30 p.m.-7 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, in the Arts & Craft Room at Anderson City Hall, 1887 Howard St.
Qualified small business owners as well as individuals thinking about starting a small business will have an opportunity to visit with a business development specialist from the Microenterprise Development Program.
The program offers assistance with writing a business plan, planning for growth, marketing products and services, preparing for financing, and honing other business management skills.
Business coaching is free to qualifying individuals through funding provided by a community development block grant.
Individuals interested in signing up for the program or learning more about it may call 225-2760, extension 204.
