Shasta College's Fall Forum

Shasta College's Fall Forum

On Friday, October 23, Shasta College presents Fall Forum, a film screening and panel presentation of Belonging, a scientific and spiritual journey into humanity's footprint on the Earth.

The panel presentation will cover such topics as:

What is sustainability?

Is our current consumer society sustainable?

What changes should we make to become sustainable?

How can we transition to a better future?

What is voluntary simplicity?

How can we bring about a change of consciousness?

The panel will include two psychologists, a minister, an activist, a student and an environmental consultant.

Filmmaker Gerard Ungerman will be on hand to present his film, answer questions and talk about his ongoing environmental work.

The screening and presentation is free and open to the public. It will be held at 7 p.m. in room 802 on the Shasta College main campus.
