Sacred Heart hosts cross country meet

Sacred Heart held a cross-country meet at the Anderson River Park on Thursday, October 8.

Students grades Kindergarten through 8th grade from Meadow Lane Elementary, Verde Vale, Anderson Heights, Prairie School, and Anderson Middle School participated in the meet. Ribbons were given down to 10th place.

The winners for the Kindergarten girls are Jadynn Cheney (Meadow Lane), followed by Ellie Treadway (Prairie), Brianna Bauder (Meadow Lane), Kynnadee Regelin (Meadow Lane), Ashlee Duckworth (Meadow Lane), Mickenzy Boyles (Prarie), Sadie Luker (Sacred Heart), Ivy Levens (Meadow Lane), Regan Reynolds (Meadow Lane) and Parice Dorstad (Prairie).

The winners for the Kindergarten boys are Carson Murphy (Meadow Lane) was first place, followed by Devin Armstrong (Prairie), Cyle Pauling (Anderson Heights), Mark Lewis (Prairie), Andrew Holloway (Anderson Heights), Mason Smith (Meadow Lane), Tyler Kinsey (Anderson Heights), Joseph Sarmiento (Verde Vale), Harley Chambers (Verde Vale), and Seth Hernandez (Anderson Heights).

For the 1st grade girls, Macy White (Prairie) took first place, followed by Anna Raymond (Verde Vale), Jocelyn Adams (Verde Vale), Kylie Beaver (Prairie), Allie Bennett (Meadow Lane), Hailie Whipple (Prairie), Danni Harrington (Anderson Heights), Sydney Perez (Sacred Heart), Emma Farmer (Verde Vale), and Sarah Erlei (Meadow Lane).

For the 1st grade boys, Luis Ruiz-Dominguez (Anderson Heights) was first, followed by Dehayden Stedman (Anderson Heights), Patrick Burgess (Sacred Heart), Kody Devine-Willis (Anderson Heights), Wyatt Ray (Prairie), Simon Griggs (Prairie), Joshua Blackwood (Anderson Heights), Billeigh Lingo (Prairie), JT Williams (Meadow Lane), and Hayden Bartlett (Verde Vale).

The 2nd grade first place winner for the girls was Lexie Regelin (Meadow Lane), followed by Cadence Yeager (Prairie), Kaylee Harper (Meadow Lane), Jocelyn Galba (Prairie), Chloe Sarrot (Verde Vale), Stephanie Joseph (Anderson Heights), Emma Shoup (Meadow Lane), Charlotte Luker (Sacred Heart), Maggie McDilda (Prairie), and Paulina Rubio (Sacred Heart).

The results for the 2nd grades boys are first place Kaden Martinez (Meadow Lane), Morgan Hunt (Meadow Lane), Jeffrey Platz (Prairie), Willy Jones (Meadow Lane), Kade Meyer (Prairie), Jeremaih Beaver (Prairie), Hunter Thompson (Anderson Heights), Jack Ryan (Anderson Heights), Jacob Hunter (Prairie), and Jaylen Harvey (Anderson Heights).

For the 3rd grade girls Ariana Sanchez (Prairie) came in first, followed by Makenna Contreras (Prairie), Talia Bitner (Prairie), Adrian Bartlett (Verde Vale), Heaven Seals (Anderson Heights), Chole Trejo (Meadow Lane), Madelyn Thompson (Prairie), Mason Baseley (Prairie), Hanna Lewis (Prairie), and Ashley Hoy (Prairie).

Fot the 3rd grade boys Khristian Clements (Prairie) took first place, followed by Brady Swanson (Prairie), Zachary Hunter (Prairie), Carson Shaw (Prairie), Brandon Shafer (Prairie), Jeremy Jones (Anderson Heights), Uriel Garcia (Anderson Heights), Jace Kemp (Sacred Heart), Aidan Burgess (Sacred Heart) and Gavin Smith (Meadow Lane).

The winners for the 4th grade girls were as follows Vanessa Manz (Meadow Lane), Rickii Bennett (Anderson Heights), Cheyanne Bradley (Meadow Lane), Angelica Koop (Anderson Heights), Kersten Henry (Meadow Lane), Brittney Cronic (Meadow Lane), Cheyenne Nadeau (Meadow Lane), Mayci Hinkle (Anderson Heights), and Maria Montgomery.

The winners for the 4th grade boys are as follows Michael Bayer (Sacred Heart), Nathaniel Holloway (Anderson Heights), Brandon Gaylor (Anderson Heights), Josiah Henderson (Anderson Heights), James Cassados (Anderson Heights), Jesse Foreman (Anderson Heights), Trenton Eide (Meadow Lane), and Kyle Erlei (Meadow Lane).

The winners for the 5th grade girls are as follows Britney Toney (Meadow Lane), Destiny Saelee (Anderson Heights), Hollee McCullar (Meadow Lane), Katie Banning (Meadow Lane), Brooklyn Roberts (Anderson Heights), Erika Rudolph (Meadow Lane), Maryfer Altamirano (Anderson Heights), Holly Barfoot (Anderson Heights), Beverly Brians (Meadow Lane), and Lalana Trejo (Meadow Lane).

The winners for the 5th grade boys are as follows Will Farrare (Anderson Heights), Tanner Eide (Meadow Lane), Skyler Bamford (Anderson Heights), Willis Green (Meadow Lane), Creed Stedman (Anderson Heights), Dylen Taphorn (Anderson Heights), Noah Megill (Meadow Lane), Jack Chambers (Verde Vale), and Jesus Garcia (Anderson Heights).

For the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade girls Baylea Frerichs (Anderson Middle School) came in first, and there is not any other information on other winners for the race.

For the 6th, 7th, and 8th grade boys Josh Manhicks (6th grade Anderson Middle School) placed second, Cory Bamford (6th grade Anderson Middle School) took fourth place, Alex Warner (7th grade Sacred Heart) placed fifth, and Liam Van Fossan (8th grade Sacred Heart) placed sixth. There is not any other information on the other winners for the race.
