Bob Morrison of Anderson moved to Shasta County approximately 40 years ago from Ohio.
In his early years in Shasta County, he spent time on the Trinity River with a friend dredging for gold.
He then began working for the Redding School District as a janitor at Sycamore, Manzanita, Juniper and eventually Sequoia Junior High School. He retired from the district in 1998 after 19 years of service.
Morrison now owns a small antique and collectibles store on East Center Street in Anderson called Bee O Bee's.
His store carries many antique and collectibles items, and he is waiting to be able to add more to his store. Morrison attends estate sales and other events to stock his business.
He also has a list of items that customers are seeking. He is constantly looking for specialty items that are universally in demand.
Morrison has had Bee O Bee's open since May of 2009.
He enjoys being involved in the community and loves the environment around it. Morrison would like to be able to build his business as times go on to enjoy a successful retirement.
He works approximately 20 hours a week and then spends time at home working on other items from the store.
Morrison enjoys spending time playing the ponies at the casino and going fishing.
Morrison his two grown children, Robert 43 and Dawn 42. He also has his constant companion and store mascot, a chihuahua named Duke.
Morrison also enjoys meeting new customers and providing good customer service for them.
The store is open Tuesday though Saturday.

My most irrational act: I got in a fight with a bully while sticking up for a buddy. That was pretty irrational.
My most valued material possession: My dog and my '65 Mustang.
What I like best about the North State: Everything.
My pet peeve is: People driving slow in the fast lane.
My fantasy is: Hitting the lottery.
If I could change one thing about myself, I would: Keep out of other people's business.
The one thing Shasta County needs most is: To clean up on transients.
The most enjoyable thing about life is: My dog and my shop.
