ROUGH, TOUGH AND PINK: Rough Stock Riders from the California High School Rodeo Association celebrate with a "Think Pink," weekend of rodeo. These boys are bull riders, saddle bronc riders and bareback riders from Rodeo District One.

The California High School Rodeo Association and the Wrangler Junior High School Rodeo Association spent the weekend competing in rodeo and paying tribute to Think Pink week by wearing pink shirts all weekend during their rodeo. The high school rodeo team competed in their second rodeo of the 2009 - 2010 season, and the junior high school team competed in their second and third rodeo for the season. The teams ended up competing at the Bobby Jones Arena in Cottonwood, due to the ground conditions at the arena in Redding. The Redding Rodeo Association has been kind enough to let the association use their arena at no charge for local rodeos. The All Around Cowboys and Cowgirls are as follows:

All Around Cowboy: Jordan Speers of Redding 100 points.

Reserve All Around Cowboy: Daniel Ferreira of Fort Jones 65 points.

2nd runner up: Sterling Humphrey, McArthur 54 points.

3rd runner up: Blaine Regan, Red Bluff 53 points.

4th runner up: Casey Meroshnekoff, Red Bluff 45 points.

All Around Cowgirl: Bailey Bidwell, Hat Creek 93 points.

Reserve All Around: Jenna Price, Orland 88 points.

2nd runner up: Kayla Johnson, Fort Jones 78 points.

3rd runner up: Brandi Anthony, Red Bluff 56 points.

4th runner up: Allie Jordan, Red Bluff 50 points.
