Woman arrested for ID thefts

Shasta County Sheriff's deputies served a second search warrant Thursday, Oct. 22, at a View Point Drive residence in Anderson, regarding approximately seven to nine vehicle burglaries that occurred in Redding and Shasta County. The main suspect at this time is Amanda Greene, who is in custody as a result of property found in Thursday's warranted search. Greene allegedly used the victims' bank credit cards and checkbooks to make purchases at local area businesses, according to Sheriff's Detective Brian Jackson. The total amount of fraudulent charges at this time is more than $2,000, Jackson stated.
