In September, the Riverview Women's Golf Association hosts a Women's Invitational. This event gives the RWGA and their guests an opportunity to raise money for a worthy cause. This year the group chose Northern California Type One Diabetes Support Group for Children.
The RWGA requests monetary donations, raffle prizes, or silent auction items to assist with fundraising efforts. Sponsors are also invited to the Player/Sponsor Reception on Friday, Sept. 25. The evening will include hors d'oeuvres, silent auction, and a putting contest for both sponsors and players.
Golfing and fundraising events are scheduled throughout the Sept. 25-27 weekend. To register as a player in the tournament, www.takeoneshotatatime.org.
